GINSLOV MEDIA STUDIO is a dance media production company that creates moving imagery to expand the creative possibilities for contemporary dance and to augment experiences for the audience through the use of digital and mobile technologies, with an emphasis on Screendance, AI, VR and AR. By combining choreographic, technological and philosophical experimentation, we aim to create works that amplify embodied experiences and somatic resonances, that ripple across the field of technologies and bodies, to create a Mixed Reality.
To do this, we collaborate with talented individuals from both local and international communities who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the process of creating transdisciplinary works that leave a lasting impression on audiences. We produce both self-initiated and commissioned projects and create works with dancers, artists, engineers, philosophers, composers, and researchers, to name but a few. We also provide services for dance video creation and produce media content for AR campaigns or installations, in addition to offering substantial curating, teaching and mentoring expertise.
Most recently GINSLOV MEDIA STUDIO has initiated the VR in Mental Health Project: Deep Focus in VR. Deep Focus in VR is an innovative VR meditation and drawing experience designed to revolutionize relaxation and meditation techniques. This immersive VR practice helps improve focus, relieve tension, and restore calm. Video.
